I feel like I’ve been all over the map, by which I mean I feel like I’m accomplishing nothing at all. I think I’m at a very interesting crossroads in my “career” now that I left my “real” job for blogging full time.
I LOVE this new lifestyle but figuring it out is not as easy as you can imagine! So I need to sit down and come up with some big goals and dreams that I’d like to accomplish in hopes of finding some motivation in the midst of this newfound freedom.
I think the biggest challenge right now is that I left Portland behind and my blog was mostly about Portland up until our move to New York. So now I’m going through a metamorphosis as I shift away from one topic to the next.
And it’s very confusing. Do I keep writing more about Portland? Should I put a hard-stop to it and focus solely on NYC?
Ah, how do I ever START with NYC? The city is electric!
And since this slump won’t leave me be, I’ve taken to the lively streets with my trusty camera in hand in hopes of finding inspiration, or a chocolate croissant at the very least (those are much easier to come by, as you can imagine).
I have to say, nothing inspires me more than the streets of New York especially during the summer months because there’s so much life happening on any random street corner and I can barely stand it!
So without further ado, allow me to share some random photos of New York City from this past weekend, I hope you enjoy. 🙂
