Best Instagram Spots in Portland
Think cozy coffee shops, nurseries filled to the brim with photogenic philodendrons and hotel lobbies worthy of magazine covers.
#1. NW Portland

Portland’s fall color is out of this world. I’m especially biased towards NW Portland because it’s my neighborhood. But seriously, look at that color!
#2. Pistils Nursery | 3811 N Mississippi Ave.

Breathe in, breathe out. This little nursery is heaven on earth for a plant lovers (like me) and photographers alike. If you let me, I’ll go on too long about it.
Of all the nurseries in Portland, Pistils Nursery on Mississippi Ave. takes the cake. Make sure to come early in the morning because it gets busy during the afternoon and evening.
#3. Ace Hotel | 1022 SW Harvey Milk St.

Coffee, does it get anymore Portland than that? You’ll be hard-pressed to find a cozier hotel lobby than the one in the Ace Hotel. Warm wood beams tower over a tiled floor, vintage table and comfy couches and chairs – eager to swallow you up.
What’s more, there’s a vintage photo-booth in the lobby as well, make sure to swing by for some fun and cute snaps!
#4. Powell’s Books | 1005 W. Burnside St.

Oh me, oh my. What can I saw about Powell’s Books that I haven’t said before? Heck, read Local’s Guide to Powell’s Books to learn all you need to know before you visit.
#5. Good Coffee | 813 SW Alder St.

This is one of my favorite cafes in Portland if not for the plants alone! Think massive floor to ceiling windows, light and airy decor and cozy furniture. While we sipped away at our americanos we even witnessed a photoshoot!
If you know, you know.
#6. Portland Waterfront | 98 SW Naito Pkwy.

Bonus points for coming during spring because the cherry blossoms change EVERYTHING about Waterfront Park! I suggest arriving for sunrise to beat the crowd, but if you’re not an early bird — get here for sunset with your picnic blanket in hand.
#7. St. John Bridge | 8600 NW Bridge Ave.

Take it easy, have a picnic, or if you come during summer – partake in the Cathedral Park Jazz Festival (FREE festival held every July).
#8. Portland Rose Garden | 400 SW Kingston Ave.
A quick paragraph will never do this masterpiece justice. So make sure to read: Local’s Guide to Portland Rose Garden where I cover everything you need to know about this dreamy garden.
Spoiler alert: There are more than 10,000 roses at the Portland Rose Garden.

#9. Voodoo Doughnuts | 22 SW 3rd Ave.

Because if you don’t get a photo by Voodoo Doughnuts, people won’t believe you were actually here – myself included.
But as a local I feel compelled to tell you that the BEST donuts are at Blue Star. Rarely am I this confident, trust me on this one.
#10. The Historic White Stag Sign | 70 NW Couch Street

My favorite thing about this sign is that they add a red nose during the holiday season to make him a reindeer. Hard to find a more iconic Portland sign.
#11. Keep Portland Weird Mural | 350 West Burnside St.

#12. Rebuilding Center | 3625 N Mississippi Ave.

Mississippi is FULL of colorful art – and I mean COLORFUL. Walk down Mississippi Avenue and you’ll know what I’m talking about in no time.
It’s such a fun neighborhood to explore in Portland!
#13. Rhino Mural | 1300 SE Morrison St.

#14. To Oregon With Love | NE 22nd Ave. & Alberta St.
This mural has caught the eye of locals and tourists alike. It’s such a sweet piece of art.

#15. Swimming Elephant | 2314 NE Alberta St.

And there you have it, my friends! These are the 15 great Portland Instagram spots you shouldn’t miss during your visit.
Until next time,
